1. The service
aiclipper.video (“aiclipper”, “we”, “us”) provides video editing software that turns your own long-form videos into short clips. It processes a video you upload, transcribes it, uses AI to rank moments, and renders clips with captions, covers, and social copy in the formats you choose. You can use it in the web app or through AI agents connected to our MCP server.
The service is in public beta. Features, limits, and pricing may change as we build it, and we will tell you about material changes before they affect you.
aiclipper.video is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, YouTube, or any AI model provider whose models we use.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to consent to data processing where you live (16 in some countries). If you use aiclipper for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
- Give us accurate account information and keep your password, sign-in method, and agent tokens secure. You are responsible for activity on your account, including actions an agent takes with a token you created.
- Tell us right away at support@aiclipper.video if you think your account or a token has been compromised. You can revoke tokens at any time in Settings.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of your content. “Your content” means the videos you submit, plus the transcripts, clips, captions, covers, descriptions, logos, and other material created from them for you.
You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transcribe, analyze, adapt, and render your content only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the AI and infrastructure providers listed in our Privacy Policy and publishing it to platforms you connect and ask us to publish to. This license ends when your content is deleted from the service, except for copies we must keep for legal reasons or that remain in backups for a short period.
You confirm that you own your content or have all rights and permissions needed for us to process it, and that processing and publishing it will not violate anyone’s rights or any law. Only submit videos you created, own, or are licensed to repurpose.
4. AI features and output
- AI output (moment selection, scores, transcripts, translations, dubbing, captions, cover headlines, and descriptions) is generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. Review it before you publish or rely on it.
- Viral scores are editorial estimates, not predictions or guarantees of reach, engagement, or revenue.
- You are responsible for what you publish, including making sure captions, translations, and cover headlines fairly represent the original speaker.
5. Credits, beta access, and pricing
- AI features use credits. Current costs are listed on the pricing page and in Settings, and each request is recorded in your usage ledger.
- If a provider request fails before producing usable work, its credits are returned automatically.
- You can buy one-time credit packs on the Billing page. Prices are shown before you pay, and you are only charged when you complete a checkout. There are no subscriptions or automatic renewals.
- Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record, which is the seller of record for your purchase and handles payment, tax, and receipts. Creem’s terms also apply to the purchase.
- Refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy: unused packs can be refunded within 14 days.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are removed if your account is closed.
- Usage limits (such as projects per day, concurrent projects, and request rates) keep the service fast and fair, and may change.
6. Acceptable use
Your use of aiclipper is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. In particular, do not use aiclipper to:
- process or publish content you do not have the rights to, or infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights;
- create, process, or publish NSFW, explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content, or any content that sexualizes or exploits minors;
- create content that is illegal, hateful, harasses or threatens people, promotes violence or self-harm, or is designed to deceive, including deepfakes and misleading edits, translations, or dubbed audio that put words in someone’s mouth;
- download or rip videos you do not own or have permission to use, or circumvent a platform’s download restrictions;
- violate the terms of platforms you download from or publish to, including the YouTube Terms of Service;
- bypass usage limits or credits, share accounts or tokens, or access other users’ data;
- probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows; or
- resell or provide the service to third parties as your own without our written permission.
7. Third-party services
aiclipper relies on third-party services, including Google’s Gemini API for AI processing, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram for publishing, and Creem for payments. aiclipper is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these providers; product and model names describe the services we use. When you connect a publishing account, the platform’s own terms and privacy policy also apply, including the YouTube Terms of Service, TikTok Terms of Service, and Instagram Terms of Use. Provider data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their availability may affect ours.
8. Agents and the MCP server
Agent tokens let AI agents and other software act on your account through our MCP server. Treat tokens like passwords. You are responsible for the instructions you give your agents and for the actions they take with your tokens, including spending credits and deleting projects. We may rate-limit, suspend, or revoke tokens that harm the service or other users.
9. Our property and feedback
The service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms do not give you rights to it beyond using the service as intended. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
10. Copyright complaints
If you believe content processed on aiclipper infringes your copyright, email support@aiclipper.video with: your contact details, the work you own, where the infringing material is, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for them. We remove infringing material and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using aiclipper and delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, create legal risk, or harm the service or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to download your content. Sections 3 (the license, until deletion), 4, and 9 through 15 survive termination.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, especially during beta. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will meet your needs.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, aiclipper is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, audience, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
If you use aiclipper for business, you will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms or of anyone’s rights.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect, unless a change is required sooner by law. Continuing to use aiclipper after changes take effect means you accept them.
