Send videos you own or have permission to use from your Chrome browser to your aiclipper workspace. Media goes directly to storage, not through the app server. YouTube access still depends on your playback session.

How to install in 2 minutes

    Download & Extract

    Click the download button above to get aiclipper-extension.zip. Unzip or extract the folder to a convenient place on your computer.

    Open Extensions in Chrome

    In Google Chrome, open a new tab and navigate to chrome://extensions (or open menu → Extensions → Manage Extensions).

    Enable Developer Mode

    Look at the top-right corner of the Extensions page and toggle the Developer mode switch to ON.

    Load Unpacked & Confirm

    Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json, not the ZIP. Keep that folder on your computer. Confirm the extension ID shows bdkikjpabbkolhanghcmfblmpeanbegl. Refresh any YouTube tabs already open.

How to use

Sending a video from YouTube

Step 1 · Open video

Play for 3–5 seconds

Sign in to aiclipper.video in the same Chrome profile first. Open a YouTube video you own or have permission to repurpose, then play it with sound for a few seconds.

Step 2 · Click pill

Click “Send to aiclipper”

Find the violet “Send to aiclipper” button on the watch page. Keep the tab open while it sends the video directly to storage. Refresh the page if the button is missing.

Step 3 · Generate

Configure and clip

Once piping finishes, the New Project page opens pre-filled. Select your formats, captions, and generate clips as usual.

Tips & Troubleshooting

Wait for ads to finish

If an advertisement is playing, wait for it to finish or click Skip before clicking the Send pill. The extension guards against capturing ad streams.

Cancel before generating clips

During transfer, click the upload button to cancel. Cleanup can take time or fail if the connection drops. After the New Project page opens, use Cancel or close it before generating clips; unused uploads expire after about a day. This does not cancel a project already submitted.

Clear unfinished uploads

If interrupted transfers hit the four-upload cap, open Debug → Clear unfinished uploads. This also cancels unfinished extension uploads in other tabs or browsers for your account. Completed uploads and project attachments are kept.

Updates and removal

Manual installs do not update automatically. Download the latest ZIP, extract it into the same folder (replace the old files), click Reload on the aiclipper card at chrome://extensions, then refresh YouTube. To uninstall, click Remove on that card.

Only install this ZIP from aiclipper.video. Review the permissions Chrome displays. The extension reads YouTube playback metadata and streams for your transfer; it sends media to our storage using your signed-in aiclipper account. Read our Privacy Policy. Need help? Contact support.
