What videos can I use?
Your own. Upload an original video file you created or are licensed to repurpose. You confirm ownership for every project, and downloading other people's videos is not allowed under our Acceptable Use Policy.
How does AI choose clips?
It evaluates transcript moments for hook strength, narrative flow, usefulness, and trend potential, then ranks the strongest selections.
Can I export more than one aspect ratio?
Yes. Choose multiple formats when creating a project, or add another format later while reusing the same source, transcript, and selected moments. Source video is retained for 14 days after processing finishes; upload it again after that.
Are captions editable?
Yes. Correct transcript text in your project and re-render captions for original-audio clips for free. Dubbed clips and translated text are not updated automatically. Exports support selectable subtitle tracks or burned captions, and you can download the subtitle file and full timestamped transcript.
Can I use it from Claude or another AI agent?
Yes. aiclipper.video runs a remote MCP server. Create an agent token in Settings, connect Claude, Cursor, VS Code, or any MCP client, and ask your agent to clip an uploaded video.
Is processing my own video free?
No. You can try demo projects for free without a card. Processing your own uploaded video requires AI credits from a paid, one-time pack.
What happens when credits run out?
New AI requests pause. Existing clips and other generated assets remain available until you delete them; original source video still follows the 14-day retention limit.
